Visit of Ms. Karen Tan , Business Development Director, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) to AALCO Headquarters

Ms. Karen Tan , Business Development Director, Hong Kong Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) accompanied by Ms. Kiran Sanghera, Business Development Deputy Director, HKIAC paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Prof. Dr. Kennedy Gastorn, Secretary-General of AALCO at the AALCO Headquarters on 12 July 2019. The meeting was also attended by Ms. Wang Liyu, Deputy Secretary General of AALCO.

Visit of Ms. Karen Tan

H.E. Prof. Dr. Kennedy Gastorn extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He recalled the successful cooperation between AALCO and HKIAC for the organization of the Hong Kong Business and Legal Summit held this year in May which was held at the HKIAC premises. He updated the delegation on the ongoing activities of AALCO. 

Ms. Karen Tan, on behalf of the HKIAC, expressed her appreciation for H.E. Prof. Dr. Kennedy Gastorn and the AALCO for successfully co-organizing the summit. They discussed in depth ways and means to strengthen the relationship between the AALCO and HKIAC including organizing joint capacity building activities.  

HKIAC is a non-profit organization established under Hong Kong law. It is one of the world’s leading dispute resolution organisations, established in 1985 by a group of leading professionals in an effort to meet the growing need for dispute resolution services in Asia.
