TWO DAY AALCO LEGAL EXPERT MEETING ON THE LAW OF THE SEA, 24-25 AUGUST 2015, PUTRAJAYA, MALAYSIA
A two day “AALCO Legal Expert Meeting on the Law of the Sea”, has been organized by the Secretariat of AALCO in association with the Universiti Malaysia Trengganu held on 24th and 25th August 2015 (Monday and Tuesday) at the Meeting Room, Strategic Communication Centre, Universiti Malaysia Trengganu, Ayer 8, Precint 8, Putrajaya, Malaysia.
This meeting would be mainly focusing on two themes:
1) Issues and Current Challenges in the Law of the Sea in the Region of South East Asia and Malaysia”; and
2) “Marine Biodiversity and Its Current Developments”.
A Note Verbale regarding this meeting on the Law of the Sea has already been sent to the Member States of AALCO.
The detailed agenda for this meeting would be circulated to our Member States in due course and posted on the website of AALCO www.aalco.int.
The Member States are kindly requested to nominate a legal expert from the ministry concerned with this topic to participate in this meeting.
