Asia Academy of Comparative law
The founders of the Asia Academy of Comparative law, realizing as they did, the important role that comparative law research and study plays in facilitating a better understanding of foreign legal systems and different legal cultures, had established in September 2013 the Asia Academy of Comparative law. This body, which has its Headquarters in Beijing, People’s Republic of China is engaged in the research and promotion of the study of comparative law with a view to better understand and appreciate the different legal systems that exist in Asia.
It is with great pride we announce that His Excellency Prof. Dr. Rahmat Mohamad, the Secretary-General of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO), has been appointed as a Member of the Curatorium of the Asia Academy of Comparative Law. We are confident that his new role will help AALCO to further strengthen and expand its activities.
