The Visit of H.E. Mr. Liu Zhenmin, the President of 54th Annual Session
His Excellency Mr. Liu Zhenmin, the President of 54th Annual Session and Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, People’s Republic of China, visited AALCO Headquarters on 16 May 2016. Prof. Dr. Rahmat Mohamad, Secretary-General of AALCO, apprised him about the activities undertaken by the Secretariat during his Presidency and thanked him for steering the 54th Annual Session and making it a grand success. The Secretary-General also briefed him about the preparation for the Fifty-Fifth Annual Session due to begin on 17 May 2016 and talked about enhancing cooperation between AALCO and China. His Excellency Mr. Liu Zhenmin urged countries in Asia and Africa which are not Member States of AALCO to join the Organization as it provides a robust platform to meaningfully engage in matters related to international law and international law making.
